UFC will return to China for the first time in over four years when UFC Fight Night 233 takes place at the Shanghai Indoor Stadium on 9th December.
The main event of the card has yet to be revealed, but a number of eye-catching fights have already been confirmed, including a middleweight bout between Brazilian Andre Muniz and Park Jun-yong of South Korea.
There are also expected to be four finale fights contested from the Road to UFC Season 2, all of which makes UFC Fight Night 233 one not to miss.
UFC Fight Night 233 will take place on Saturday 9th December 2023.
The exact times for UFC Fight Night 233 are yet to be confirmed, but with Shanghai being eight hours ahead of the UK, a potential afternoon start could be on the cards for those following the event in Britain.
For the first time since August 2019 when Zhang Weili defeated Jessica Andrade to land the UFC Women's Strawweight Championship at UFC Fight Night 157 in Shenzhen, the promotion will be returning to Chinese soil.
The venue for UFC Fight Night 233 will be the Shanghai Indoor Stadium, which is set to host a UFC event for the very first time.
The only previous time the promotion has headed to Shanghai was when Kelvin Gastelum knocked out Michael Bisping at the Mercedes Benz Arena in November 2017.
First opened in 1976, the Shanghai Indoor Stadium is more accustomed to hosting music concerts than sporting events, with the likes of Elton John, Michael Bolton and Bob Dylan having all performed there in the past.
The entire card is expected to be streamed exclusively on ESPN+.
