UFC Fight Night 225: Fight date, schedule, undercard & betting odds

Heavyweight Tom Aspinall makes his long-awaited comeback from injury as he faces Marcin Tybura in the main event of UFC Fight Night 225.

The British star will return to action for the first time since suffering a knee injury 15 seconds into his main event fight against Curtis Blaydes in London last year.

Aspinall remains fifth in the heavyweight rankings, and he is hoping to get back to winning ways before targeting a fight against heavyweight champion Jon Jones.

Despite returning from a serious injury, Aspinall has been given a credible opponent for his return, with Tybura only five places behind him in the rankings.

Before his injury, Aspinall had won eight fights in a row, and he will need to come through a tough encounter to have the confidence in his body for bigger fights down the line.

Fellow Brit Molly McCann will also make her return, as she fights Julija Stoliarenko at flyweight. The Liverpudlian suffered a frustrating defeat in her last outing, as she lost by submission to Erin Blanchfield.

Before that defeat at UFC 281, McCann had won three fights on the spin, and she is 1/4 to return to winning ways, while Stoliarenko is classed as the 3/1 outsider.

What time is UFC Fight Night 225?

Where is UFC Fight Night 225?

UFC Fight Night 225 will take place at the 02 Arena in London. The UFC will return to London just four months after Leon Edwards beat Kamaru Usman to retain his welterweight crown.

Yes. Both the preliminary card and the main card will be available to watch on BT Sport (TNT Sports).

Are there any belts on the line at UFC Fight Night 225?

No. Neither Aspinall nor Tybura hold a title, but both men will have aspirations of fighting for one in the future.

American Jones remains the heavyweight champion, but he has the likes of Sergei Pavlovich, Ciryl Gane, Stipe Miocic, Blaydes, and Aspinall chasing him in the top five of the rankings.

Tai Tuivasa, Volkov, Serghei Spivac, Jailton Almeida and Tybura round off the top 10 in the rankings, and consecutive wins against top-10 fighters may earn either Aspinall or Tybura a shot at a world title.

What is Tom Aspinall's record?

15 fights, 12 wins (9KOs), 3 defeats.

What is Marcin Tybura's record?

31 fights, 24 wins (9KOs), 7 defeats.
