Merab Dvalishvili makes his second UFC bantamweight title defence at UFC 311 when taking on Umar Nurmagomedov.
Fight to go the distance - Yes @ 10/23
After out-pointing Sean O'Malley to take the title, Dvalishvili is setting out to establish himself as a dominant force at 135lbs. It's not been a division that has been truly captured by any one fighter, with Aljamain Sterling holding the record for most consecutive title defences with three, but one of those was a contentious, razor-thin split decision over Petr Yan, who he only took the title off via DQ, and another was against an injured TJ Dillashaw.
But if Dvalishvili is to set himself apart from his predecessors, he'll need to beat he protégé of an MMA legend.
It's hard to see anything but a grappling battle between the pair, with a combined five knockouts in 40 fights, and Adam Catterall is expecting this one to go the deistance.
