UFC president Dana White announced that England would host a numbered card for only the second time since 2016 after Leon Edwards defended his welterweight title against Kamaru Usman at UFC 286 in March 2023.

In a since-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter), the UFC announced that UFC 304 will be held on 27th July 2024, though that date has now been confirmed.
Although the card will be hosted in the UK, the event will follow traditional UFC times.
The prelims will start at 11pm BST with the main card at 3am, and the main event likely taking place around 5am.
