Tyson Fury has delivered a boxing bombshell, saying he would shelve his retirement plans if a trilogy showdown with Oleksandr Usyk can be made.

The Gypsy King announced his boxing retirement on the back of his second successive loss to the Ukrainian back in December, and has since reiterated his plans to remain in boxing wilderness.

However, speaking to Boxing Social in Istanbul on Wednesday, the 36-year-old has suggested that he would be willing to stage a remarkable return - but only on two conditions.

The first being that his opponent is current unified heavyweight champion of the world Usyk, and the second on the proviso the fight is staged on British soil.

"If I was going to come back then I'd come back for (Oleksandr) Usyk!" he announced.

"But I want a fair result in England - that would be the fight I'd want immediately, the fight I'd want next!

I already won a f****** fair fight - I'm not looking for any favours, I want a fair fight and a fair result. I believe, and I know, I didn't get that.

"I f****** thought I won it by five rounds' I've literally watched it back 250 times and each way, I never ever see how there is a way for him to win.

"But, I know they can do what they want. If they say it is Tuesday, it is Tuesday...

"I've always said that I never give a f*** about anyone's opinion, until it's f***** up my life!"

Fury's revelation comes amidst talk that a long-mooted clash with domestic rival Anthony Joshua is in the pipeline.

However, despite continuous speculation that the two British heavyweight behemoths could lock-horns, Fury is adamant the fight won't happen.

"I've got no regrets that the fight hasn't happened, I don't regret anything - life's too short to have regrets," he added.

"What do I need it for? what do I need to come back for? I've achieved everything there is to achieve in the sport.

"I've had a love-hate relationship with boxing for going on 25 years, and like all relationships there are going to be ups and downs.

"I'm still very much in love with the game, I still train hard, lift weights and spar, but, as i said, there's only one fight that I'd come back for!"
