Tyson Fury will fight on November 20 irrespective of whether it's the Gypsy King's domestic foe Anthony Joshua standing in the opposite corner, it has been claimed.
According to the fighter's brother, Shane Fury, the Morecambe star will return to the ring this winter as he targets a crack at a third world championship crown in 2027.
Fury undertook his first bout since being beaten by Oleksandr Usyk 18 months ago last month, stopping the veteran Pole Mariusz Wach in a low key fight in Thailand.
The clash was designed to serve as a tune-up for the long-speculated affair with Joshua, although question marks still surround whether the blockbuster event will actually take place.
"The fight’s the 20th of November. Time’s rolling on," Shane Fury told Boxing King Media this week.
It doesn’t affect us, because we’re fighting on that date anyway. Tyson’s over in America now, training, as we speak.

"He’s got his nutritionist, his strength and conditioning [coach], his trainer. If it’s not [Joshua] it will be somebody else.
He added: "Tyson will be fighting on that day regardless. It really don’t affect us. Tyson is the cash cow to Netflix."
Whilst the date had initially been locked in for the dust-up with Joshua, talks between the two fighters' representatives and promoter Turki Alalshikh have reached a stalemate with ongoing disputes surrounding the venue.
Queensberry's Frank Warren is understood to have agreed to Alalshikh's demands for the bout to take place in New York for commercial reasons, whilst Eddie Hearn has argued that a contract has been signed for the clash to take place in the United Kingdom.
However, despite that, it's believed the Matchroom supremo has renegotiated a deal that will see New York City's fabled Madison Square Garden venue host the spectacle.
Hearn had previously argued that an all-British bout of this magnitude should take place on home shores, although there has seemingly been a change in his stance with greater financial rewards rumoured to be on offer for his fighter in the US.
"We sent the addendum a couple of days ago. We had a phone call tonight saying a response is incoming," Hearn told SunSport earlier this week.
"But as we sit here, nothing yet. So I’m sure they’ll come back with their comments, and listen, hopefully we can move forward.
"But we don’t really want to move forward with an American fight. Now, will we? Maybe. But we’d rather not.
"If they can accept what we put forward and everything can be wrapped up, and they really want to do it (in America) we’re going to be having that conversation."
