Seagulls soaring high

Fulham vs Brighton

Craven Cottage, London

Fulham 23/10, Draw 23/10, Brighton 5/4

The Seagulls have won three of their first four games to sit fourth in the table ahead of their trip to Craven Cottage for a 19:30 kick-off.

After impressively beating Manchester United and West Ham on the road, Graham Potter's side edged out Leeds 1-0 on Saturday and they will be confident of taking all three points, available at 5/4, against Marco Silva's side next.

Fulham, who are 23/10 to win, have enjoyed a solid start to life back in the top flight, drawing with Liverpool on the opening weekend before following it up with a draw against Wolves and then a dramatic 3-2 home win over Brentford.

They were 1-0 up at leaders Arsenal on Saturday too before a Gunners turnaround left them reflecting on a narrow 2-1 defeat, a result that leaves them 11th in the standings.

Eagles had City on ropes

Crystal Palace vs Brentford

Selhurst Park, London

19:30, Tuesday 30th August 2022

How to watch

BT Sport 3

Crystal Palace 11/10, Draw 12/5, Brighton 13/5

The other 19:30 game on Tuesday sees Crystal Palace entertain Brentford at Selhurst Park.

Palace shocked defending champions Manchester City to lead 2-0 at half-time at the Etihad on Saturday only for Pep Guardiola's side to come roaring back after the break to win 4-2.

This is a different kind of test against a Bees outfit who were guilty of missing a hatful of chances in their 1-1 home draw against Everton at the weekend.

Palace have lost to Arsenal and beaten Aston Villa at home so far this term and will be wary of the attacking threat Thomas Frank's side will pose as Brentford have hit nine goals in their first four matches, including four in the memorable home dismantling of Manchester United earlier this month.

With Patrick Vieira's side managing six goals so far, it seems likely that both these sides will be on the scoresheet at 4/5 on Tuesday in what should be an entertaining clash.

Chelsea a big test for Saints

Southampton vs Chelsea

St Mary's, Southampton

19:45, Tuesday 30th August 2022

How to watch

BT Sport 2

Southampton 9/2, Draw 16/5, Chelsea 4/7

Southampton were arguably worthy of a draw when they lost 1-0 at home to Manchester United on Saturday but they must now pick themselves up for another St Mary's test when Chelsea visit in a 19:45 kick-off.

Saints wasted plenty of presentable opportunities against the Red Devils but ultimately lost for the second time this season.

Chelsea bounced back from a shock 3-0 defeat at Leeds to see off Leicester at home - the result even more eye-catching as they had to play two-thirds of it with 10 men after Conor Gallagher's sending off.

Raheem Sterling scored his first two goals for his new club and he's 15/8 to find the back of the net again anytime with Chelsea 4/7 to come away from the south coast with a win.

Leeds can extend Toffees' poor start

Leeds vs Everton

Elland Road, Leeds

20:00, Tuesday 30th August 2022

How to watch

BT Sport 1

Leeds 23/20, Draw 5/2, Everton 23/10

Leeds will be confident of maintaining their solid start when they host an Everton side who have yet to taste victory.

Jesse Marsch's men, who are 23/20 to win, suffered their first setback of the campaign when they were beaten 1-0 by Brighton on Saturday, but overall the signs look good for the Whites after earlier wins over Wolves and Chelsea and a draw with Southampton.

Everton, in contrast, have lost to Chelsea and Aston Villa before back-to-back 1-1 draws against Nottingham Forest and Brentford.

They were somewhat fortunate to come away with a point against the Bees, though, and with ongoing speculation over the future of talented youngster Anthony Gordon, Frank Lampard has plenty of problems at the minute.
