Graham Holland is chasing a hat-trick after back-to-back successes in the Greyhound Derby and the Irish Laurels champion is one of the stars spearheading his talented team.

This is one of the best races of the second round, but High Trend has fine early speed and can put his rivals under early pressure by stealing a march.

Impressive heat winner Barntick Bear takes a chunk out of the market, but his draw is fraught with danger and he may get tapped for speed into the opening turn.

Pat Buckley's classy duo Singalong Dolly and Ballinabola Ed are also dangers and respected in the market, however neither possesses the potent early speed of High Trend who can confirm last week's form with the latter.

A slick exit and Holland's speedster will be away and gone.

19.10 Towcester – Antigua Hawk @ 11/4

This lightly-raced Irish raider carries a lofty reputation and it was easy to see why last week when he demolished rivals in the opening round.

It's a little surprising that layers were not more taken by the impressive display from this novice two-year-old and he is still on offer at big prices for outright honours.

There will be loads more to come and Pat Buckley is a master trainer who knows what it takes to steer a star to Derby glory.

Heat 11 on Saturday night offers up another opportunity for this scopey speedster to cut loose once again.

20:22 Towcester – Droopys Pivotel @ 9/4

Romford trainer Maxine Locke currently handles the best team of dogs she has ever trained and this youngster is one of the most exciting pups in training.

He took apart moderate opposition at Hove earlier this month but the clock was sensational and he showed promise again in defeat last week.

There is plenty more to come from this pup and he is well drawn to showcase his ability on Saturday night in heat 15.

Derby Plate winner Whyaye Man will step inside from trap three and the coast will be clear for Locke's trap four runner to blast to the front and dominate the opposition.

Irish raider Grouchos Duke showed big early speed last week in the opening round, but a switch to the inside will likely prove detrimental to his trapping and he is opposed.
