Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are set to meet in a post-season friendly in Australia just three days after the conclusion of the Premier League campaign.
Ange Postecoglou's side and Eddie Howe's outfit will clash at the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground, with over 85,000 spectators expected to be in attendance.
Tottenham v Newcastle will not be broadcast in the UK and cannot be watched live on TV.
The game, however, will be available to watch live on Tottenham's video streaming service SPURSPLAY, with viewers needing to purchase a subscription to the site, and Newcastle's video streaming service NUFC TV.
Tottenham v Newcastle will take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, with kick-off scheduled for 10:45am BST on Wednesday 22nd May 2024.
A few eyebrows have been raised at a post-season friendly between two Premier League clubs so soon after the season has concluded.
The fixture is a part of Global Football Week Melbourne, which consists of three matches across seven days.
Tottenham will play one game as part of Ange Postecoglou's homecoming, while Newcastle will play a second match against an A-League All Stars team on Friday 24th May.
Arsenal Women are another English side involved in the event and they will also take on an A-League Women's All Stars team.
Both sides finished their respective Premier League campaigns with victories on the road, with Tottenham defeating Sheffield United at Bramall Lane and Newcastle victorious over Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium.
