Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham look set to have a major say in the title race with the North Londoners set to face all three of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City from now until the end of the season.
Up next for Spurs in the Premier League is the North London derby, with Mikel Arteta's Arsenal currently sat top of the Premier League table after trouncing Chelsea 5-0 at the Emirates in midweek.
Spurs supporters would love nothing more than to knock their fierce rivals' title challenge off track, with Postecoglou's side having drawn 2-2 at the Emirates back in September.
Arsenal are not the only title challengers Spurs have left to face in the Premier League, with the Lilywhites due to take on Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday 5th May.
Tottenham are incidentally one of only three teams to have beaten Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool in the Premier League this term along with Arsenal and Crystal Palace, albeit in controversial circumstances, with Spurs prevailing 2-1 over the Reds at home back in September in a match in which Luis Diaz had a goal incorrectly ruled out for offside.
The final leg of this daunting trio of fixtures will see Tottenham host Pep Guardiola's Man City on the penultimate round of this enthralling Premier League season.
This is a fixture which has proved a stumbling block for Guardiola's all-conquering City side in the past, with the Citizens having lost on all four of their Premier League visits to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since it opened in 2019.
bet365’s Steve Freeth said: “Spurs are playing catch-up in the race for a Champions League spot with recent results in Europe making it increasingly likely that the only route will be via a top four finish.
“However, they’ll have a big say in the Premier League title race where they’ll be desperate to take points in the North London derby, while Manchester City are yet to score a Premier League goal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.”
Tottenham's fixtures against Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City will not only have a significant bearing on the destination of the Premier League title this year, but will also help determine who finishes in the top four.
Following a disappointing round for English clubs in Europe, with Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool and West Ham all knocked out of continental competitions, it now looks as though the Premier League will only have four Champions League spots up for grabs as opposed to the previously expected five.
This means Postecoglou's fifth-placed Tottenham have a real fight on their hands if they are to secure Champions League qualification for next season, with Spurs currently trailing Unai Emery's Aston Villa in fourth by six points, although the North Londoners do have two games in hand.
Spurs' matches against this season's three title challengers could therefore prove pivotal to their hopes of a coveted Champions League place.
