After years of picking the wrong managers, from Jose Mourinho to Nuno Espirito Santo to Antonio Conte, Tottenham finally seem to have made a shrewd managerial appointment in Ange Postecoglou.
The Australian manager has made a strong start in the Premier League, with Spurs sitting in second place after registering four wins and a draw from their opening five matches.
An entertaining 2-2 draw at Brentford was followed by a 2-0 win against Manchester United in Postecoglou's first home game in charge.
Tottenham then enjoyed back-to-back away victories with a 2-0 triumph at Bournemouth and a fantastic performance at Turf Moor, where they defeated newly-promoted Burnley 5-2, with new captain Son Heung-min scoring a hat-trick.
In their last outing, goals deep into injury time from Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski helped Spurs come from behind to beat Sheffield United, as they continued their excellent start to the Premier League campaign.
However, one of their three trophy chances this season has already ended as they were defeated on penalties by Fulham in the second round of the EFL Cup.
