Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy this summer.
After back-to-back 17th place Premier League finishes, Roberto De Zerbi's Tottenham Hotspur have begun a rebuild of their squad.
The free signings of Marcos Senesi and Andrew Robertson have already been announced this summer, while Spurs are also reportedly in advanced talks with Brighton to secure the signature of Jan Paul van Hecke.
With reinforcements in their defence already all-but complete, attention for Spurs' recruitment team will now turn to their attack, with Dominic Solanke and Richarlison the two strikers currently at the club.
Richarlison had an okay 2025/26 season, finishing on 12 goals, whilst Solanke has spent the majority of his Spurs career on the treatment table and only managed three Premier League goals last campaign.
One of the players that Tottenham have been linked to as they look to strengthen their forward line is Borussia Dortmund's Guinean striker Serhou Guirassy.
The 30 year-old has had two strong seasons for BVB since making the move from Stuttgart for €18m, scoring 60 goals and registering 15 assists in just 96 Dortmund matches in all competitions.
Reports had suggested that Guirassy had pre agreed a deal to join Turkish side Fenerbache this summer, however the former Rennes' man's agent has rubbished these claims.
Speaking to Sky Sports' Patrick Burger, his agent said: "To clarify: no agreement of any kind has been reached. Serhou is currently evaluating his options for next season. Any claim of a verbal deal is simply not true."
The news will come as a welcome boost to De Zerbi's side, should they decide to make Guirassy their number one striker target, giving them the opportunity to secure his signature.
