Zuffa Boxing prospect Fred Pullen is set to make his professional debut on the undercard of Johnny Fisher vs Michael Pirotton on Saturday night.
This weekend will mark Zuffa's second boxing event in the UK, with Chris Billam-Smith's victory over Ryan Rozicki headlining their first card at the Bournemouth International Centre in June.
Fisher -- who made the decision to join forces with Dana White after his contract expired with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing earlier this year -- will star Saturday night's event against 12-2 heavyweight Pirotton, with the entire card set to take place at London's Copper Box Arena.
Set to make their professional boxing debut on Zuffa Boxing 11 is Fred Pullen, who heads into his first bout off the back of a strong amateur career.
Speaking to iFL TV's Kugan Cassius ahead of his debut bout against Leonardo Faretina, Pullen said:
"It's been a long time coming, 15 years in the making. I can't wait to just go out there and have fun now.
"I won the ABAs. That was what I wanted to do as an amateur. I was at a point where it was like: 'Do I wait another two years and risk getting injured, not going to a qualifiers and missing out in the Olympics, or do I jump ship now?'
"In the end I thought that it's the right time, I'm going to jump ship."
Pullen confirmed that the start of his boxing career will be overseen by promotional company Zuffa, joining fellow Brits Fisher and Conor Benn who have recently teamed up with Dana White.
The 22-year-old added: "We've signed a long-term deal with Zuffa and we're excited. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds."
Born-and-bred in Hornchurch, Pullen enjoyed a mightily impressive amateur career, where he amassed a 61-21 record. Along the way, he clinched the Golden Gong championship, the Senior Elite London championship and the Senior Elite ABA National championship.
A friend of 'The Romford Bull', both Londoners will be out to make an impression on their Zuffa debuts this weekend.
