The Manchester derby has provided some historic moments in its time, including a number of phenomenal goals.

Here we look at the top 10 players with the most Premier League goals in the Manchester derby.

• David Silva (4)

Entering the list first up is Man City's former Spanish magician, David Silva.

Arguably one of the Citizens' most technically gifted players in recent times, Silva netted on four occasions across 15 Premier League games in the Manchester Derby, with his most recent goal against the Red Devils coming on 11th November 2018 in a 3-1 win.

• Edin Dzeko (4)

Edin Dzeko boasts an impressive record against Man Utd, scoring four and assisting two in six contests.

Perhaps his, and Man City's, most impressive performance against the Sky Blues' bitter rivals came in 2011, where Dzeko was on hand to find the net on two occasions in a 6-1 Man City win.

• Paul Scholes (5)

While in his later days Paul Scholes may have been known for his unique ability to control games almost single-handedly, we shouldn't downplay his knack for finding the back of the net.

Scholes scored five times against City, with his first goal coming in the 1995/96 season and last goal coming in the 2009/10 campaign.

While Anthony Martial's Manchester United career may be disputed, it is hard to deny the impact he had in the Manchester derby.

Martial scored on five occasions against City across 14 league games, though two of them came in a 6-3 defeat.
