We have taken a look at the top ten biggest departures from La Liga over the years.

The €222m transfer that saw Neymar leave Barcelona to join PSG in August 2017 remains the most expensive transfer of all-time.

The Brazil forward scored 105 goals in 118 appearances for Barcelona during a four-year spell where he won La Liga twice as well as the UEFA Champions League.

Cristiano Ronaldo is second on the list following his €117m transfer from Real Madrid to Juventus in 2019.

Arthur Melo is third on the list after joining Juventus in 2020, while the top five is completed by Lucas Hernandez and Kepa Arrizabalaga.

There is also a place in the top ten for former Manchester United players Angel Di Maria and Casemiro.
