Tom Ford and Ricky Walden will be locking horns for a tenth time on Saturday as the pair eye up a spot in the last 16 of the World Snooker Championship.

Ford, seeded for the competition for the first time this year, has won four of those meetings, with Walden - who edged past Mark Davies on Judgement Day - prevailing in five.

Each of the last two encounters have gone the distance too, with Walden scoring a 4-3 success in the 2020 Scottish Open, two years on from Ford's 5-4 victory in the 2018 6-Reds World Championship.

This will be the first match between the two at the Crucible Theatre.
