Gold Coast captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui says they will need to raise their game against Parramatta but can take hope from their last-gasp 8-6 win over the Brisbane Broncos.
The Titans are priced at 5/4 to finish in the top eight of the NRL this season and have made a solid start with two wins from their opening four games.
The Titans were close to a 1-3 start to the season as the Broncos were leading heading into the dying minutes of the round-four clash.
However they grabbed a late try at the death and Fa'asuamaleaui says there are plenty of positives to take from the game.
Including the fact the Broncos did not score a try.

The Titans will have to raise their game against the Eels who are 3-1 for the season and are looking strong. But Fa'asuamaleaui insists they have nothing to fear.
"There's a lot of things we need to improve from that game but the best thing is that there was no tries," the Titans' skipper said.
"I know the game was scrappy and that but there was just one try in the 78th minute. It was a good effort from both teams.
But there was no tries at the end of the game from our side anyway, so it was good. We can take confidence from that.”
Meanwhile Jamayne Isaako is settling in nicely since arriving from the Brisbane Broncos and Fa'asuamaleaui says it is good to have him on board.
"He's been good, he's starting to get along with the boys and make jokes," Fa'asuamaleaui added. "He's starting to learn our plays which is even better for us for the weekend.”
