Eight runners have been declared for the 2024 Tingle Creek Chase with Jonbon looking to land successive renewals.
Nicky Henderson's eight-time Grade 1 victor will be looking to emulate Kauto Star by going back-to-back in the race and Jonbon arrives in winning fashion having triumphed in the Shloer Chase at Cheltenham in November.
Other contenders include 2021 Triumph Hurdle winner Quilixios, who appeared to have rediscovered his best form in the Grade 3 Barbestown Castle Chase in Naas last month when pulling comfortably clear of Marine Nationale.
Winner of this race in 2022, Edwardstone boasts a strong record at Sandown Park and Alan King will hope the weather works in his favour as the 10-year old bids for a fourth Grade 1 success.
