The Richmond Tigers will be without co-captain Dylan Grimes for Sunday’s clash with Greater Western Sydney after he was pulled from Damien Hardwick’s squad.
The Tigers are priced at 17/10 to beat the Giants but will have to do it without Grimes who is the latest player to become unavailable for the clash.
Grimes was due to face the Giants but the Tigers says he has pulled up sore after the captain’s run on Saturday and they will not be taking any risks on him.
It means 22-year-old key defender Ben Miller has come into the side and will get his chance to shine.
Martin in frame to replace Cotchin
The withdrawal is another setback for the Tigers who are already without Dustin Martin who has been left out because of personal reasons.
"He's dealing with a couple of personal issues, but we just want to make sure that Dustin's OK," Hardwick told reporters at training on Thursday.
"We'll give him his time. He's so important to the fabric of our footy club, we just want to make sure he's OK and he's getting what he needs."
The Tigers will also be without injured duo Jack Riewoldt and Dion Prestia as they look to bounce back from a disappointing round-one defeat against Carlton last week.
There is some good news though as Kamdyn McIntosh, Matt Parker and Thomson Dow return for the Tigers.
