With so many seeded players already gone, the UK Championship has a wide open look in York. Another big name will tumble in the last-16 as former world champions Shaun Murphy and Judd Trump lock horns on the baize this afternoon.

Murphy edged out Dave Gilbert in a tense decider on Tuesday, having notched a terrific 133 total clearance at 4-5 down to stay in contention.

Trump, meanwhile, rather fell over the line in his 6-5 win over Xiao Guodong and the Ace in the Pack will surely need to raise his game to justify 4/11 favouritism in this best-of-11 tussle.

Later, Hossein Vafaei's reward for dumping out Mark Selby is a clash with in-form Jack Lisowski at 19:00 and the Iranian potter is 6/5 to stage another upset.
