Thomas Tuchel names England squad to face Andorra and Senegal

Thomas Tuchel has named Jordan Henderson once again in his latest England squad while Ivan Toney earns a first call-up since his move to Saudi Arabia.

Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton and Marc Guehi miss out after suffering concussions in their FA Cup final win, while Morgan Gibbs-White earns a call-up after his excellent season for Nottingham Forest.

England travel to Barcelona for a World Cup Qualifier with Andorra on 7th June before heading to the City Ground for a friendly with Senegal on 10th June.

Despite the tepid opposition in the only competitive match, Tuchel has named a strong squad as he continues to familiarise himself with his players and attempts to instil his philosophy on the side ahead of next year's World Cup.

It's a small window to fit an international break in between the end of the domestic season and the start of the Club World Cup, and Phil Foden has been given a rest.

Foden won a clean sweep of PFA Player of the Year, Premier League Player of the Season and FWA Footballer of the Year after a sparkling campaign in which he scored 19 goals and laid on eight assists.

This season has been a far cry from that, however. Foden has just seven goals and two assists and admits he's struggled physically and mentally on and off the field.
