The top five Premier League centre-back partnerships with the least goals conceded per game

Former Arsenal defenders Sol Campbell and Kolo Toure have conceded the least goals as a defensive partnership in the history of the Premier League.

The duo were a major part of the legendary invincibles team that remained unbeaten throughout the duration of the 2003/04 season on the way to lifting the Premier League title.

The other former Arsenal pair on the list are ex-captain Tony Adams and Martin Keown, who were a major part of the Gunners backline across multiple decades.

Manchester United duo Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand, former UEFA Champions League winners with the club, are second on the list of top five centre-back partnerships.

Chelsea's John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho complete the top five alongside Manchester City's title-winning partnership of Vincent Kompany and Joleon Lescott
