Unbeaten superstar Constitution Hill has been backed by 74.8% of customers ahead of the Champion Hurdle on the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival.
Nicky Henderson's eight-year-old missed last year's Cheltenham Festival through injury but he is back to reclaim his Champion Hurdle crown this time around.
After winning the Christmas Hurdle for a third time on his Boxing Day comeback after a 12-month absence, Constitution Hill then took the honours in the International Hurdle at Cheltenham to cement his place as the Champion Hurdle favourite.
The decision made by Gordon Elliott to target Tuesday's Championship race with Brighterdaysahead raised eyebrows and has cast some doubts over the supposed formality for Constitution Hill.
But only 16.2% of bets placed on the Champion Hurdle have been on Brighterdaysahead, with many bet365 punters still siding with the long time favourite.
Last year's winner State Man has almost been the forgotten the horse for this year's renewal, with just 5.2% of Champion Hurdle bets placed on Willie Mullins' horse.
Out of the remaining Champion Hurdle entries, only Winter Fog has received over 1% of the overall bets.
