British number one Jack Draper will get his US Open assault up and running by facing China's Zhang Zhizhen on Tuesday in New York.
On Saturday, Draper confirmed that he had split with coach Wayne Ferreira ahead of the US Open as he seeks to build on a promising run to the quarter-finals of the Cincinnati Open last week.
James Trotman is now his sole coaching voice, with Draper suggesting he preferred to 'keep things simple' with just one coach in his corner after four months working with Ferreira.
The contest will be televised on Sky Sports Tennis & Sky Sports+.
The match will take place on Tuesday 27th August 2024 on Court 5 at Flushing Meadows in New York, with an estimated start time of 18:00 BST.
Draper, 22, has never faced 27-year-old Zhang, who is ranked 41st in the world - 16 places below the Brit.
Draper had an impressive run to the fourth round in New York last season, his best Grand Slam showing to date, while this season he defeated subsequent Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz at Queen's before claiming the Stuttgart Open when beating Matteo Berrettini in the final.
Zhang's best Grand Slam results have come via third-round appearances at the French Open (2023, 2024) and in New York last year. He recently won a silver medal in the mixed doubles in France.
