Day One at the French Open will close with a potentially thrilling clash between veteran friends Stan Wawrinka and Andy Murray.
And while both men may soon be calling time on their careers, these three-time Grand Slam singles champions should serve up a feast of entertainment on Court Philippe Chatrier to close the opening-day proceedings.
Stan Wawrinka v Andy Murray will be televised on Eurosport 1 or 2 & Discovery+.
Stan Wawrinka v Andy Murray will be the last match of the day on Court Philippe Chatrier on Sunday 26th May and the first of the evening matches on the Parisian centre court.
It will follow the Eva Lys v Caroline Garcia women’s singles clash and not start before 19:15 UK time.
This will be the 24th meeting between Stan Wawrinka, who is ranked just inside the top 100 at 97th, and Andy Murray, who is ranked 22 spots higher at 75th.
