We assess Novak Djokovic's odds for the 2024 US Open as the Serbian bids to follow his Olympic triumph with success at Flushing Meadows.

The general consensus since his Olympic triumph in Paris is that Djokovic has now officially completed tennis.
A gold medal at the Olympics was the final missing piece of the Serbian's jigsaw. He's won all of the major crown jewels that the sport has to offer.
What will unsettle his rivals is that Djokovic is far from finished.
Following a straight sets trouncing in the Wimbledon final against Carlos Alcaraz, doubts were raised over Djokovic's ability compete for further honours. His Olympic act was a supreme show of defiance, with the 37-year-old exacting revenge on his young Spanish counterpart with a sublime 7-6, 7-6 victory.
Now all eyes turn to the final Grand Slam of the year and Djokovic finds himself in the unusual situation of needing to triumph at Flushing Meadows to avoid going a season without a major title; not since 2017 has Djokovic failed to win a Grand Slam in a calendar year.
The hard-courts in New York haven't served the same success as the surface in Melbourne and yet he is still one of the US Open's most decorated males, winning the competition on four occasions, one fewer than Open Era record holders Roger Federer, Pete Sampras and Jimmy Connors.
If Djokovic is victorious here, it only cements his status as the greatest male to have graced the sport.
