The Monte Carlo Masters, which is the first of three ATP Masters 1000 tournaments to be played on clay, is a fans' favourite due to its spectacular scenery.
The tournament, staged at the Monte Carlo Country Club in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, is part of the nine Masters 1000 events on the ATP Tour and it has been dominated down the years by Rafael Nadal, who has claimed the title on a record 11 occasions.
Andrey Rublev is the defending champion, having defeated Holger Rune in a three-set final last season, on the back of Stefanos Tsitsipas triumphing in back-to-back years in 2021 and 2022.
We have compiled a list of information detailing all you need to know about this key clay-court competition.
The Monte Carlo Masters gets underway on Sunday April 7th with the action concluding with the final on Sunday April 14th.
It is a men’s event consisting of 56 players, with world number one Novak Djokovic headlining the field, and matches will get underway from 10:00 UK time.
Held at one of the most iconic venues on the ATP Tour, the Monte Carlo Country Club plays host to the event and has done since first opening in 1928.
The club is located at Roquebrune-Cap-Martin in the Alpes-Maritimes and has one of the most picturesque views on the circuit.
It has a centre court which can hold up to 10,000 people and overlooks the ocean, which is why it is such a highly-sought after venue for both the players and spectators.
The Monte Carlo Masters will be available to stream on the bet365 Sports Live Streaming platform.
Sky Sports launched a new dedicated tennis channel, Sky Sports Tennis, in February and they will be covering the duration of the event, which will also be available to watch on Now TV.

World number one Novak Djokovic, who has won the event in both 2013 and 2015, is attempting to become the first player to complete a triple career Golden Masters - that is to win all nine Masters events on three occasions.
But that won’t be an easy feat on his first start since enduring an early exit to Luca Nardi in Indian Wells, especially given it is a star-studded field.
Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev are also in attendance along with reigning champion Rublev and German star Alexander Zverev.
There is also British interest with Cameron Norrie, Jack Draper and Dan Evans all hoping to put up a decent fight.
Having won the title on a record-setting 11 occasions, Nadal is by far the most decorated player in Monte Carlo Masters history.
The Spaniard first won the event in 2005 with his final success coming in 2018, but he is an injury absentee this year.
Rublev reigned supreme last season, having finished runner-up to Tsitsipas in 2021. The Greek star then defended his crown in 2022.
Alongside Tsitsipas, Djokovic is also a two-time winner of the event, while the only other two winners still performing on the ATP Tour are Stan Wawrinka (2014) and Fabio Fognini (2019).
