Great Britain head into their first round qualifier in the 2025 Davis Cup against Japan as the betting underdogs.
Captained by Leon Smith, Great Britain will travel to Japan without number one male player Jack Draper due to injury, with Scotland's Jacob Fearnley primed to make his Davis Cup debut in his place.
23-year-old Fearnley is joined in the squad by Billy Harris, with the pair currently ranked as Britain's number three and four players respectively behind Draper and Cameron Norrie.
Fearnley and Harris will be backed up by a doubles pairing of Neal Skupski and Joe Salisbury in Japan.
The hosts' favouritism is perhaps merited given the credentials of Yoshihito Nishioka and Kei Nishikori, currently ranked number 67 and 70 in the world respectively.
Japan do have a relative dearth of doubles specialists in comparison to the Brits, however, making this leg of the tie potentially pivotal.
