British tennis star Jack Draper has emerged as a genuine ATP Tour star this season, winning the Indian Wells Masters title in March and rising to a career-high fifth in the world rankings on the eve of the season's second Grand Slam.
The 23-year-old left-hander is 16/1 to lift his first Grand Slam title in Paris on Sunday after producing three superb performances so far on the Parisian red clay.
Below, we chart Draper's potential path to the French Open final.
Wins over Mattia Bellucci, Gael Monfils and Joao Fonseca have seen Draper reach the second week in Paris for the first time in his career and the draw has opened up slightly for the British number one in the last 16.
Many were anticipating a fourth round clash with number nine seed Alex de Minaur, but Alexander Bublik upset the form book to come back from two sets down to beat the Australian and followed that up with a comfortable victory against Henrique Rocha.
The 27-year-old is also through to the last 16 in Paris for the first time and Draper is the odds-on favourite to reach the quarter-finals.
While Draper is expected to reach the last eight, he would definitely be the underdog in a potential quarter-final clash with French Open second-favourite Jannik Sinner.
Having won the Australian Open in January, the world No.1 made his long-awaited return in Rome, where he found only Carlos Alcaraz too strong despite having no competitive matches in his legs.
Draper won their first clash at Queen's Club in 2021, but Sinner triumphed in the US Open semi-finals last year before going on to take the title. The Italian is the man to beat in the top half.
The second quarter of the draw is fascinating with Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev the big two in that section.
With last season's finalist Zverev under something of a cloud, it's Djokovic who looks marginally more likely to prevail, having shown signs of improvement in Geneva this week.
A brilliant winner of Olympic gold on these courts last year, the 24-time Grand Slam champion would present Draper with a tough mental hurdle to overcome.
Should Draper come through that series of potentially difficult challenges, his reward could well be a French Open final against Carlos Alcaraz.
The defending French Open champion, Alcaraz has underlined his status as tournament favourite over the last few weeks, winning the Monte Carlo Masters and reaching the final in Barcelona, before downing Sinner in Rome.
Draper will have to prove he can cope with the arduous fitness test which comes with going deep in the French Open, but he has beaten Alcaraz twice, at Queen's Club last year and on his way to winning the Indian Wells title in March.
However, Alcaraz leads 4-2 overall, including a win in their sole clay meeting in Rome earlier this month and he would be a heavy favourite if he's fit and firing come the final.
