World number one Iga Swiatek begins her Wimbledon campaign with a tricky looking first-round clash against Sofia Kenin on Tuesday.
The Polish star has already secured the French Open title this year and now has her sights set on a first Wimbledon success.
Kenin though is a former Grand Slam champion herself, winning the 2020 Australian Open, and is currently sat inside the world’s top-50 players.
This year's Wimbledon Championships will be broadcast on bet365’s Live Sports Streaming service.
This first-round encounter is also expected to be shown live on the BBC, with coverage on both BBC1 and BBC2, while the BBC iPlayer and website will also show matches.
Swiatek v Kenin will be the third match to take place on Court 1 at around 17:00 BST on Tuesday 2nd July.
Swiatek has already won five WTA Tour events going into this year's Wimbledon, a list which includes her success on the clay in Paris.
Her record at SW19 has not been what she would expect it to be, but she does look to be getting to grips with the grass-court challenge.
Having lost in the first round on her debut in 2019, Swiatek has made the fourth round, third round and quarter finals in the last three years.
American Kenin has been handed the tough task of facing the four-time Grand Slam champion in round one.
The 25-year-old’s best performance at Wimbledon came last year, when she made the third round before losing in straight sets to Elina Svitolina.
The two players have met on two previous occasions and both matches have been at Grand Slams, with Swiatek winning in the French Open final in 2020 and then beating Kenin at this year’s Australian Open.
