In what is a repeat of the WTA Madrid final from a fortnight ago, the best two female players on the planet go toe-to-toe again as world number one Iga Swiatek bids to claim her third Italian Open title at Aryna Sabalenka’s expense.
Swiatek triumphed in Rome in 2021 and 2022 and she will be hoping to bring up the hat-trick against world number two Sabalanka, a player she defeated 7-5 4-6 7-6 in the final in the Spanish capital earlier this month.
The WTA Rome final can be streamed in the UK on bet365's Live Streaming Service and is also available to watch on Sky Sports Tennis.
Iga Swiatek v Aryna Sabalenka will be shown on centre-court at the Foro Italico in Rome, Italy on Saturday 18th May.
Rome is the sixth WTA 1000 tournament of the season and the final will get underway at 5pm, with the victor taking home €699,690.
Swiatek leads her personal series with Sabalenka 7-3 and this will be their fifth meeting to take place in a final.
The Polish world number one has won three of those four previous finals, which includes a three-set win over Sabalenka in Madrid earlier this month.
This will be their sixth encounter on clay and Swiatek, who is a three-time French Open champion, has won four of their five slow-court duels so far.
Sabalenka’s three victories over Swiatek have all come in straight sets, the latest of which came in the final of Madrid 12 months ago.
Swiatek has lost only two of her last 25 matches and she is on an 11-game winning streak, with all five of her victories in Rome coming in straight sets.
