Emma Raducanu will continue her preparations for Wimbledon when she heads to the Nottingham Open to face Ena Shibahara in the opening round.
The grass court tournament is one of the traditional events before the third Grand Slam event of the year at SW19.
Raducanu is still searching for the form that helped her win the US Open in 2021 and will be hoping for a strong Nottingham Open campaign this week, starting with her opening encounter against Shibahara.
Ena Shibahara v Emma Raducanu will be available to watch on the BBC via the red button, BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website.
Ena Shibahara v Emma Raducanu will start at 10:00 (BST) on Tuesday 11th June 2024 at the Nottingham Tennis Centre in Nottingham, England.
Ena Shibahara and Emma Raducanu have not met previously on the WTA Tour.
Raducanu currently finds herself on a two-match losing streak after early defeats in Stuttgart and Madrid on clay.
American-born Japanese star Shibahara has already played in qualifying for the Nottingham Open and has beaten Maddison Inglis and Alexandra Eala on her way to the first round.
