It is fair to say Jack Draper is playing the best tennis of his career.
The only British player remaining in both the men's and women's singles draw, Draper has progressed to the fourth round of the US Open for the second successive season.
But he looks even sharper this year, reaching this stage without dropping a set.
The 25th seed will be looking to capitalise on playing in a weakened field, which has already lost Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz, but he should be wary of Tomas Machac in the last 16 and nothing can be taken for granted.
Jack Draper to win 3-1 - 11/4
A second-round exit at Wimbledon was underwhelming for British number one Draper but he picked himself up and quickly turned his attention to the North American hard-court swing.
He played just one match at the ATP Montreal, losing in two sets to Jordan Thompson, before an impressive run to the quarter-finals of the Cincinnati Masters, in which he beat ninth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas as well as Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime.
He did not feature at the Winston-Salem Open but was nonetheless set up nicely for the US Open and he has not looked back at Flushing Meadows.
The 22-year-old was handed a walkover win by Zhizhen Zhang in his opener but had led 6-3 6-0 4-0 anyway and he proceeded to beat both Facundo Diaz and Botic van de Zandschulp in the second and third rounds.
Draper's serve seems to be improving game-by-game and he fired down 13 aces against Van de Zandschulp, who had dumped out third seed Alcaraz in the previous round.
Machac is also yet to drop a set and his scalps have been equally impressive, with Fabio Fognini, Sebastian Korda and David Goffin all defeated.
But this is uncharted territory for the Czech, who had previously never gone beyond the third round of a Grand Slam.
Draper, meanwhile, was at this stage of the competition last year and that added experience should see him over the line.
He is appropriately priced at 1/2 to win this match but he could drop his first set, so a bet on Draper to win 3-1 is appealing at 11/4.
Jack Draper to win first set 6-4 - 11/2
The tag of British number one comes with its own pressures, which Draper insists he recognises.
But his mentality has looked pretty sharp so far in New York and he should start brightly in the last 16 against Machac.
Draper has given little away on serve in the Big Apple, which could again be the case in the first set on Monday.
Machac has shown his own promise at Flushing Meadows this year and some punters may be reluctant to settle on a match winner.
But for those bettors, there could still be value in the first set scoreline, with Draper a decent pick at 11/2 to win the opening set 6-4.
It's a hard market to gauge but Draper will likely be happy enough with a back-and-forwards approach in the first set before putting his foot on the gas, as has been the case in all the matches he has played at this year's US Open.
He has naturally won the opening set in each of his matches and the scorelines have been 6-3, 6-4 and 6-3.
Machac is the strongest opponent Draper has been drawn against so far, so he should make it a little more competitive than Van de Zandschulp, and 6-4 to Draper in the first set looks a decent second pick.
