After a gruelling five-set battle with Lorenzo Musetti which went on beyond 3am in Paris, Novak Djokvoic eventually secured victory in the third round and set up a fourth-round clash with Francisco Cerundolo.
Top seed Djokovic won 7-5 6-7 2-6 6-3 6-0 against Musetti, having won his first two matches at the clay-court major in straight sets.
His reward is a fourth-round clash with 23rd seed Cerundolo, who recovered from a set down to beat 14th seed Tommy Paul last time out.
