Daniil Medvedev meets Carlos Alcaraz in a repeat of last year’s Wimbledon semi-final on Thursday after both players came from behind to win their quarter-final matches.
Medvedev saw off men’s top seed Jannik Sinner in five sets to end a five-match losing sequence against the Italian, while Alcaraz powered past Tommy Paul in four sets to reach his second SW19 semi-final.
The Spaniard made quick work of Medvedev 12 months ago as he ran out the 6-3 6-3 6-3 winner en route to what could be the first of many Wimbledon titles.
This year's Wimbledon Championships will be broadcast on bet365’s Sports Live Streaming service.
The semi-final between Medvedev and Alcaraz will also be available to watch on BBC One, BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.
The semi-final will take place any time from 13:00 BST on Friday 12th July at the All England Club in London.
Alcaraz holds the 4-2 head-to-head edge over Medvedev with these rivals set to face off at Wimbledon for a third time.
The Russian was an easy winner on Alcaraz’s first visit to Wimbledon in 2021, when he took down a raw teenager with no real experience of grass for the loss of just six games.
But it was a very different outcome in 2023 as the Spaniard never trailed in a straight-sets semi-final victory.
Medvedev got his revenge in the US Open semi-final later that year, but Alcaraz has since beaten his rival at the round-robin stage of the ATP Finals and in the final at Indian Wells.
