Alexander Zverev is a warm favourite to claim his first title of the 2024 campaign in Rome and the third seed is likely to prove too strong for his Chilean challenger, Nicolas Jarry.
The German has capitalised to some tune on Novak Djokovic’s faltering form and is 1/3 to clinch his 22nd career title, with five of those victories coming in Masters 1000 events such as this.
Zverev defeated Djokovic’s conqueror Alejandro Tabilo in the semi-finals and he faces another Chilean in the final in Jarry, who has upset Stefanos Tsitsipas and Tommy Paul in the last two rounds.
Jarry, a 12/5 chance to land his fourth career title, has needed a deciding set in three of his last four matches at the Italian Open and will need to be at his best to remain competitive.
The ATP Rome final can be streamed in the UK on bet365's Live Streaming Service and is also available to watch on Sky Sports Tennis.
Alexander Zverev v Nicolas Jarry will be shown on centre-court at the Foro Italico in Rome, Italy on Sunday 19th May.
Rome is the fifth ATP 1000 tournament of the season and the final will get underway at 5pm, with the victor taking home €963,225.
Zverev leads his personal series with Jarry 4-2, although they have shared their four clay-court meetings at two wins apiece.
Three of their six meetings have gone to a deciding set and Zverev has won four of the last five encounters, the latest of which came in Beijing in October last year.
Zverev has lost only five of his last 21 matches and he has dropped only one set across his five tournament wins in Rome.
Jarry, meanwhile, has come through a deciding set in three of his five tournament appearances.
