Sunday sees defending champion Alexander Zverev begin his bid to retain his Olympic gold medal as he takes on Spaniard Jaume Munar in the first round of the men's tennis singles.
Zverev reached the final of ATP 500 Hamburg in his most recent tournament outing - falling to Frenchman Arthur Fils to finish runner-up - while Munar, who also participated in Hamburg, was eliminated in the round of 32.

Zverev and Munar have faced each other on one previous occasion, with the Spaniard claiming the bragging rights in a 2-1 victory in the round of 16 of the 2019 Marrakech ATP Event.
However, the German comfortably leads in terms of career titles with 22 compared to Munar's 0, and Zverev does have one crown to his name in 2024, winning the ATP Masters 1000 Rome.
Zverev is also the Olympic champion, beating Karen Khachanov 6-3 6-1 in the final in Tokyo.
