The ATP Finals mark the end of the tennis season and the top eight male players in the world will battle it out for supremacy in Turin.
Qualification for the year-end tournament is determined by the ATP's Race to Turin rankings, with points built up over the course of a season.
The top seven players in the ATP Race to Turin rankings will be granted a place in the ATP Finals.
The eighth spot is allocated to a 2024 Grand Slam tournament winner who is ranked between 8th-20th. If that requirement is not met, the final berth is awarded to the player ranked eighth in the ATP rankings.
Points in the ATP Race to Turin rankings are accumulated in the four Grand Slam tournaments, the eight mandatory ATP Masters 1000 events and the best results from seven other tournaments that carry ranking points (United Cup, ATP 500, ATP 250, Challenger, ITF).
Players have the option to replace three of their results in Masters 1000 events with a better score from an ATP 500/250 tournament.
Those with the most points at the end of the season will qualify for the ATP Finals.
Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev and Daniil Medvedev were the first to qualify for the ATP Finals.
Sinner clinched the year-end No.1 ranking in the second week of October, which is the earliest of any player since Novak Djokovic in 2015, and the Italian is the only player to achieve more than 10,000 ranking points this season.
In the aftermath of the Paris Masters, the remaining four spots have been filled by Taylor Fritz, Casper Ruud, Alex de Minaur and Andrey Rublev.

Djokovic has confirmed he will not participate in the ATP Finals due to injury.
The 37-year-old, who has won the previous two editions of the Finals in Turin, pulled out of the Paris Masters before announcing on social media he will avoid the ATP Finals to focus on his rehabilitation.
The alternate spots are to be filled by Grigor Dimitrov and Stefanos Tsitsipas, who finished 10th and 11th in the Race to Turin rankings.
If a player withdraws before the round-robin stage is completed, an alternate player can deputise in their absence.
Last year, Hubert Hurkacz stepped in for Tsitsipas, who was forced to exit the tournament through injury. Hurkacz went on to progress to the final, where he was defeated by Djokovic.
