Teams to have spent the most on transfers in the 2024/25 season, including loan fees

Brighton & Hove Albion spent the most money on transfers out of any team in world football during the 2024/25 season.

The Seagulls swooped to secure the big-money acquisitions of the likes of Georginio Rutter, Yankuba Minteh, Mats Wieffer, Brajan Gruda and Ferdi Kadioglu during the summer transfer window.

Brighton also added to their ranks in the January transfer window with Stefanos Tzimas, Diego Gomez and Eiran Cashin costing a combined €50 million.

Five other Premier League teams make up the list of clubs who spent the most money during the 2024/25 season in the form of Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur.

The list is completed by UEFA Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Al-Nassr.
