Stayers' Hurdle champion Teahupoo has been priced up as the 4/1 favourite to win next year's race at the Cheltenham Festival after his victory on Thursday afternoon.
One of Gordon Elliott's stable stars headed to Gloucestershire following a sublime performance in the Hatton's Grace Hurdle on his seasonal bow in December.
He beat the likes of Impaire Et Passe and Ashroe Diamond that day to have his odds slashed for this one, and Teahupoo went off as short as 5/4 for this year's Championship race.
Teahupoo was victorious by three lengths from two-time champion Flooring Porter in second, while Home By The Lee ran a great race to finish third at 16/1.
The early betting for next year's Stayers' Hurdle already features the likes of Ballyburn, who won the Gallagher Novices' Hurdle on Wednesday, and Irish Point, who was runner-up to the impressive State Man in the Champion Hurdle.
