Roma forward Tammy Abraham is expected to join Besiktas for a reported fee of €20m.
The move will bring to an end Abraham's four year stay in Italy where he netted 29 goals in Serie A.
Formerly of Chelsea and Aston Villa, the striker spent last season on loan at AC Milan but I Rossoneri have opted against making the deal permanent.
Abraham performed with credit during his time in the Italian capital, reaching double-figures for goals and adding a further seven assists.
Arguably his best moment in a Milan shirt came when he netted a 93rd minute winner against bitter rivals Inter Milan to clinch the Suppercoppa Italiana in dramatic fashion.
Fabrizio Romano broke the news of Abraham's new destination on his X account.
"EXCLUSIVE: Besiktas reach verbal agreement to sign Tammy Abraham on permanent deal from AS Roma, here we go," wrote Romano.
"Transfer fee around €20m. Abraham has accepted the destination. Time for paperwork between clubs. Tammy, set to fly to Turkey."
The 27-year-old made his move to Roma in 2021 from Chelsea in a deal worth €41m.
At the time of the transfer, this made Abraham the most expensive English player to be signed by a non-British club in history.
He played an instrumental role in Roma's Europa Conference League triumph under Jose Mourinho - scoring 27 times in all competitions including nine in Europe.

16-time Turkish top-flight champions Besiktas are currently managed by former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Solskjaer - who won 12 trophies as a player with United - was appointed manager of the Turkish side in January on a one-and-a-half-year deal, guiding the club to a fourth-place finish that secured Europa League football for next season.
It appears that Tammy Abraham will have the number nine role all to himself with veteran Italian forward Ciro Immobile all set to depart this summer.
Bologna appears to be the destination for Immobile who netted 19 times during his spell in the Turkish capital.
