T20 World Cup Final Odds: India 1/2 to beat South Africa

India are 1/2 to beat South Africa in Saturday's T20 World Cup final after their 68-run thrashing of England in Thursday's semi-final.

Both teams breezed into Sunday's showpiece, albeit in different manners. South Africa bowled Afghanistan out for just 56, knocking that off inside nine overs, while India set England a testing 172 before bowling the defending champions out for just 103.

It meant India retained their unbeaten record, with Axar Patel ripping through England's top order, taking Jos Buttler, Moeen Ali and Jonny Bairstow for a combined 31 runs, before Kuldeep Yadav stepped in, taking Harry Brook, Sam Curran, Liam Livingstone and Chris Jordan.

While it was a sorely underwhelming batting performance from England, it poses a stark warning to South Africa about the threat they'll face on Sunday.

Nevertheless, South Africa are unbeaten themselves, having won all eight matches so far as they look to claim a first ICC trophy.

If the Proteas are to lift the trophy on Saturday, they will likely lean on the likes of Aiden Markram and talisman Quinton de Kock with the bat, while hoping the likes of Anrich Nortje can restrict India's big hitters with the ball.
