It's wide open in Group B after the first round of matches at the 2026 World Cup as Switzerland and Bosnia-Herzegovina collide at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Favourites to top the group, Switzerland were held to a shock 1-1 draw against Qatar in their opening game as Miro Muheim's stoppage time equaliser cancelled out Breel Embolo's first half penalty.
Although the Swiss dominated every metric and fashioned 27 shots, their performance felt lacklustre and Murat Yakin will be expecting a response from his side going into this evening's encounter.
Bosnia also played out a 1-1 draw in their first fixture of the tournament against co-hosts Canada. Jovo Lukic's first half header had silenced the partisan Toronto crowd, but the Zmajevi were undone by an excellent improvised finish from Canada substitute Cyle Larin as both teams were forced to share the spoils.
It leaves the second round of fixtures in Group B finely poised and a win for either side will be enough to secure their progression to the Round of 32.
Fascinatingly this will be the first competitive fixture between the two nations.
Yakin makes two changes from the side that started the stalemate against Qatar as Kevin Widmer replaces Denis Zakaria and Fabian Rieder steps in for Ruben Vargas.
As for Bosnia, Sead Kolasinac is deemed fit despite limping off in the draw against Canada and he retains his place at left-back.
Bosnia's record goalscorer Edin Dzeko takes the place of goalscorer Jova Lukic in attack, while former Birmingham City midfielder Ivan Sunjic replaces Ivan Basic in central midfield.
PSV Eindhoven winger Esmir Bajraktarevic is replaced by prodigious Salzburg star Kerim Alajbegovic on the flank.
