The Hurricanes and the Chiefs will face off in an all-New Zealand Super Rugby Pacific final on Saturday morning.
Both sides finished as the top two at the end of the regular season, booking their place in the Super Rugby Pacific final through the play-offs.
The Hurricanes breezed through their respective play-off matches, defeating the Brumbies 66-12 in the quarter finals before dismantling fellow New Zealand based side the Blues 57-21 in the semis.
Similarly, the Chiefs had strong performances in their play-off fixtures, defeating the Reds 56-24 in their quarter final and dismantling the Crusaders 49-12 in their semi final.
