Since 1998, a play-off system has been used to determine the Super League champions, with the format undergoing numerous changes over the years.
We've got all you need to know ahead of the 2024 Super League play-offs.
Since 2020, Super League has used a six-team play-off system, akin to the one used between 2002 and 2008, though that was over four weeks rather than three.
Teams finishing between third and sixth in the regular season will face off, with the team finishing third getting a home tie with the team finishing sixth, and the team finishing fourth getting a home tie with the team finishing fifth.
In the NFL, play-off matches aren't decided until all teams have qualified, with Super League using the same format; the highest-ranked team will host the lowest-ranked winner of the eliminators in the semi-finals.
The winner of those two matches will meet in the Grand Final at Old Trafford.
The first two elimination matches will take place 27th and 28th September. The semi-finals will take place the week after, with the Super League Grand Final on 12th October.
All four of the Super League play-off games as well as the Grand Final will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
