Sunderland and Nottingham Forest are reportedly interested in Palmeiras winger Riquelme Fillipi.
On The Minute have reported that the two Premier League clubs are monitoring the player's situation, but no offers have been made at this stage.
Fillipi is a 19-year-old winger who has broken into the Palmeiras first team this season after impressing in the club's development side.
The fleet-footed Brazilian operates primarily from the left wing and he scored 22 goals in 42 appearances for Palmeiras Under 20s last season.
His pace and ability to take on defenders has seen him become one of the biggest prospects in the Brazilian Serie A and he is now the subject of plenty of interest from abroad.
Fillipi is likely to be a long-term prospect for either Sunderland or Forest if they are able to complete a deal.
However, his route into the first-team could be accelerated particularly at the Stadium of Light, with Sunderland looking to build a squad which is capable of negotiating the additional workload that the UEFA Europa League provides.
Sunderland began their Premier League campaign with a 2-1 defeat at newly-promoted Ipswich Town on Saturday, but hope is high amongst supporters that they can build on last season's success.
Meanwhile, Oliver Glasner's reign as Nottm Forest manager started with a 1-0 loss at home to Leeds United.
