Friday 9th June:

Ilkay Gundogan set for Barcelona switch

Ilkay Gundogan has been cut to 2/7 to sign for Barcelona, with the Man City captain reportedly close to agreeing a switch to the La Liga champions upon the expiry of his contract at the Etihad this summer.

This means Germany international Gundogan is set to make his final appearance for City in tomorrow's Champions League final, with Pep Guardiola's side bidding to complete a stunning treble against Inter in Istanbul.

Gundogan has enjoyed a fantastic individual campaign for City, registering 18 goal contributions in all competitions, including a brace in the FA Cup final against Man Utd.

Thursday 8th June:

Liverpool complete signing of Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton

Liverpool have completed the signing of midfielder Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton on a long-term deal.

The 24-year-old Argentine World Cup winner will add dynamism and class to a Liverpool midfield which appeared a glaringly weak area last season, with the Reds' latest recruit having netted 10 Premier League goals for the Seagulls last term.

The next couple of months look primed to be busy for Liverpool in the transfer market as the Anfield club bid to return improve on last season's disappointing fifth-placed finish in the new campaign.
 

Harry Kane odds-on to join Real Madrid

It promises to be the biggest transfer story of the summer and the three-horse race appears to have been whittled down to two, at least for the time being.

Real Madrid surely need an immediate replacement for Karim Benzema, and Harry Kane - at least for the short term - looks a perfect fit. But there are so many factors to consider it's near-impossible to tell where the 29-year-old will be playing his football next season.

Does he continue to chase the Premier League goal record? Does he go to Manchester United for the better - albeit by no means guaranteed - chance to win trophies? Does he go to Spain where he's unlikely to ever play against his old club and can be almost given a collection of winners' medals?

The latest reports suggest the latter is the most likely, with Real Madrid favourites for the first time at 4/5.

Declan Rice to stay at West Ham?

It was either the perfect send-off, or such a good night it's persuaded Declan Rice to stay on for at least another season at the London Stadium.

Punters suggest the latter, with Rice being backed in from 12/1 to 9/2 on the back of West Ham's Europa Conference League win on Wednesday night, though Arsenal remain hot favourites at 4/9.

Real Madrid agree Jude Bellingham deal

14-time Champions League winners Real Madrid have agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund in the region of £88.5m for 19-year-old midfielder Jude Bellingham.

Birmingham City academy graduate Bellingham, who has already been capped 24 times by England, is widely regarded as one of the top young midfielders in Europe having registered 14 goal contributions for Dortmund in all competitions this season.

An all-action and box-to-box player with a range of attributes, Bellingham will join a Real Madrid squad already stacked with world-class midfielders including Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Aurelien Tchouameni.
 

Betting suspended on Lionel Messi

Betting has been suspended on Lionel Messi's next club, with David Beckham's MLS franchise Inter Miami reportedly close to securing the services of the Argentine World Cup winner.

The 35-year-old has being courted by a number of clubs in recent weeks, most prominently Barcelona and Al-Hilal, after it was confirmed he would be departing PSG after two seasons at the Parc des Princes.

It appears Messi's mind is now set on Inter Miami, however, with the football legend the latest world star set to turn out in MLS following the likes of Beckham himself, Thierry Henry and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Tuesday 6th June:

Tottenham new favourites for Harry Maguire

Reports that Tottenham are set to make a move for Harry Maguire has sparked a flurry of bets on the England man moving to North London, with Tottenham now 7/2.

Steve Freeth said: "It's been one-way traffic since Ange Postecoglou was announced as Tottenham manager with every single bet on the Harry Maguire Club on 3rd September 2023 market being for Spurs."

Chelsea favourites for Moises Caicedo

Chelsea have made no secret of their desire to bolster their midfield ranks, and a midfield pairing of Enzo Fernandez and either of Moises Caicedo and Manuel Ugarte would be a fearsome prospect, but with Ugarte closing in on a move to PSG, the Blues appear to be redoubling their efforts for Brighton's Caicedo.

Monday 5th June:

A closer look at Manchester United target Kim-Min jae

Reports suggest South Korean centre-back Kim Min-jae could be set for a move from Serie A champions Napoli to Manchester United.

The 26-year-old defender enjoyed an outstanding debut campaign for Napoli after arriving from Fenerbahce last summer, with the Italian side winning their first Scudetto in 33 years.

Kim, who was named Serie A Defender of the Year, is 6ft 3in tall and dominant aerially, with Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag perhaps viewing the South Korean as an ideal long-term partner for Argentine Lisandro Martinez at the back.

The centre-back is currently priced at 2/5 to join Man United, and 9/2 to stay at Napoli.

Betting suspended on Alexis Mac Allister

Betting has been suspended on Alexis Mac Allister's next club, with the Argentine midfielder reportedly agreeing a contract to join Liverpool from Brighton.

The 24-year-old could be the first of a few midfield arrivals for the Reds this summer, with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp seeking to upgrade an ageing engine room which appeared off the pace last season.

Registering 10 goals for Brighton in the Premier League last term, Mac Allister will add quality to Liverpool's midfield as well as the energy and dynamism required to fit into Klopp's system.
 

Thursday 1st June:

Real Madrid shorten to sign Harry Kane

Real Madrid have come in to 3/1 to sign Tottenham talisman Harry Kane amid reports Karim Benzema is set to depart Los Blancos.

35-year-old Benzema, the latest recipient of the prestigious Ballon d'Or award, has become increasingly linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League in recent days.

Should Benzema complete an exit from the Bernabeu, the 14-time Champions League winners will be in the market for a new number one striker to replace him, with England captain Harry Kane certainly fitting the bill.

Spurs are currently favourites at 10/11 to be Kane's club on 1st September, however, with the 29-year-old now just 47 goals behind Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League record after notching an outstanding 30 last season.

Kane could yet leave Spurs and continue his career in the Premier League, with Manchester United (7/4) and Chelsea (14/1) also in the hunt for his signature.

Harry Kane odds-on to stay at Spurs

Following news that Tottenham look set to demand around £100m for Harry Kane, we've made Spurs favourites once again at 10/11. 

The fee would surely price Manchester United out, leaving them to look elsewhere, with Kane presumably leaving on a free at the end of next season.

But United's top priority is a new striker with Kane believes to be the club's top target, and they can be backed to sign Kane at 5/4.

PSG 8/13 to sign Manuel Ugarte

Chelsea could be about to say goodbye to most of their midfield in the summer, and it looks like they'll miss out on a potential reinforcement in Manuel Ugarte, with the Uruguayan seemingly close to a move to PSG.

The midfielder is arguably the best ball-winner in Europe and would add plenty of mettle to the French champions' midfield.

Man Utd in to 10/11 favourites to sign Harry Kane

Manchester United are in to 10/11 favourites to sign England captain Harry Kane from Tottenham this summer.

Despite Spurs' dismal campaign which sees them currently placed eighth in the Premier League table and on the brink of missing out on any form of European football next term, 29-year-old Kane has still mustered up impressive individual numbers with 30 goals in all competitions so far.

With his Spurs contract set to expire next year, the North London side face losing their talisman on a free should they fail to tie him down to a new contract, with a number of top European clubs reportedly preparing a move.

Tottenham remain second favourites to be Kane's club on September 3rd at 6/4, with Real Madrid (8/1), Chelsea (8/1) and Bayern Munich (16/1) also in the reckoning.

Harvey Barnes to Newcastle?

Newcastle are 7/2 favourites to be Harvey Barnes' club on 3rd September, with the 25-year-old's current club Leicester City on the brink of relegation from the Premier League.

Despite the Foxes' woes, Barnes has had a productive season with 12 Premier League goals, and is a winger certainly capable of proving to be an asset for a number of top flight clubs. 

Dean Smith's side do still have a chance to retain their Premier League status ahead of a final day showdown with West Ham, and are currently priced at 4/1 to keep Barnes ahead of next season.

Erik ten Hag's Manchester United have emerged as Evens favourites to sign in demand Chelsea and England midfielder Mason Mount this summer.

24-year-old Mount, whose contract at Stamford Bridge runs out next year, has been the subject of widespread speculation following a disappointing season with Chelsea.

Premier League champions Manchester City have been cut to 3/1 to sign West Ham and England star Declan Rice this summer.

Although Mikel Arteta's Arsenal remain odds-on favourites at 4/6 to secure Rice's services ahead of next season, it appears Man City could now also be in the running as Pep Guardiola strives to bring an unprecedented fourth consecutive Premier League title to the Etihad Stadium next term.

Mason Mount to Arsenal?

Arsenal are the latest club reportedly interested in Mount's signature, prompting a cut in their odds of 20/1 into 7/2. Of course, there are political considerations to consider; would Mount, who's spent most of his life at Chelsea, willingly swap West London for North?

Ilkay Gundogan odds-on to extend Man City stay

Amidst continued uncertainty surrounding his future at the Etihad Stadium, out-of-contract Manchester City skipper Ilkay Gundogan is now odds-on at 8/15 to remain at the Premier League champions ahead of the new season. 

32-year-old Gundogan, who has been one of City's standout players in recent weeks as Pep Guardiola's charges sealed their third consecutive Premier League title win, has left it late to commit his future to the club having arrived from Borussia Dortmund in 2016.

La Liga winners Barcelona (13/8) have been touted as a potential alternative destination for the midfield playmaker, with former City coach Mikel Arteta also reported to be keen to bring the German international to Arsenal (6/1).

It goes without saying that the all-conquering Man City would be a difficult club to leave at present given their dominance both domestically and in Europe, and with manager Guardiola having voiced his keenness to keep Gundogan, the Citizens currently appear best placed to have the German at their disposal next year.

In-form Ilkay Gundogan odds-on for Barcelona move

Manchester City skipper Ilkay Gundogan is odds-on at 5/6 to join Xavi's Barcelona this summer, with the German international's contract set to expire at the Etihad at the end of this season.

Sadio Mane shortens to join Chelsea

Ex-Liverpool icon Sadio Mane is in to 9/4 to make a shock summer switch to Chelsea after enduring a difficult first season at Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

Senegalese forward Mane traded Anfield for Bavaria last summer after six decorated seasons with Jurgen Klopp's side, but has experienced problems on and off the field with Bayern this term.

Registering an underwhelming 12 goals in all competitions in his debut campaign in Germany, and having recently been suspended by the club following an altercation with teammate Serge Gnabry, Mane's future at the Bundesliga leaders has been cast into doubt.

Free-spending Premier League strugglers Chelsea are currently rated as Mane's most likely destination should he leave Bayern at 9/4, with PSG, Napoli and Real Madrid all priced at 8/1.

The 31-year-old is 2/1 to remain a Bayern Munich player come September.

Declan Rice odds-on to join Arsenal

While Arsenal have been favourites to secure Declan Rice's signature for some time, the Gunners have been cut to 8/13 to have the West Ham man on their books on 3rd September 2023.

West Ham have managed to repel rival clubs from snatching away their star man, but are believed to have told Rice he can leave for a Champions League club should the money be right.

Arsenal, for the first time since 2016/17, will be one such club, though asking price may remain a stumbling block. The Hammers are thought to be holding out for a fee in excess of £100m, and with another year left to run on Rice's contract with the option of a second, the club aren't under huge pressure to sell.

James Maddison backed for Newcastle switch

Leicester City midfield maestro James Maddison is in to 2/1 to be a Newcastle player come September 3rd.

Currently embroiled in a relegation dogfight with Leicester, with the Foxes languishing in 18th place in the Premier League with just three matches remaining, 26-year-old Maddison may feel his time at the King Power Stadium has reached an end.

Signed from Norwich City for around £20m in 2018, Maddison has been a shining light in a Leicester team which has consistently competed at the top end of the Premier League table in recent seasons, and was part of the side which claimed FA Cup glory in 2021.

Things have soured for the Foxes this season, however, and it is difficult to foresee a player of the calibre of Maddison plying his trade in the Championship next season should Leicester's relegation be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Although Eddie Howe's Champions League-chasers Newcastle appear to be leading the chase for Maddison's signature at present, other Premier League sides such as Spurs (7/2) and Liverpool (8/1) are also in the frame.

The goalscoring midfielder is priced at 7/2 to continue his journey with Leicester beyond this season.

Victor Osimhen to Chelsea?

Free-spending Chelsea are now 7/4 to be Nigerian Napoli scoring sensation Victor Osimhen's club on 3rd September 2023.

24-year-old Osimhen, who has notched 28 goals in all competitions for Napoli this season as Luciano Spalletti's side collected the club's first Scudetto since the days of Diego Maradona way back in 1990, may be viewed as the ideal solution to Chelsea's current striking crisis.

With the Blues having endured a torrid season in the Premier League, languishing down in 11th place in the table, a lack of a recognised and consistent striker has become increasingly conspicuous as the campaign has wore on.

Chelsea will not be the only English club to be in the market for a high-profile striker in the summer, with Erik ten Hag's Manchester United given odds of 11/2 to land Osimhen.

No doubt eager to defend their Scudetto title and make a further dent in the Champions League next season, Napoli will be desperate to retain the services of Osimhen, with the Italian side priced at 1/1 to keep their star striker.

Argentine World Cup winner Lionel Messi is in to 6/5 to be an Al Hilal player come September 3rd.

PSG star Messi has become increasingly linked with a return to former club Barcelona following the decision of the Paris club to suspend him following an unauthorised visit to Saudi Arabia, but reports are now suggesting he could be set to move further afield.

Harry Maguire to leave Man Utd?

After another difficult season at Old Trafford for Manchester United captain Harry Maguire, the 30-year-old England international could be heading for the exit door this summer.

Maguire's game time at United has become more and more limited as this season has progressed, to the extent that both Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw have been preferred at the heart of the Red Devils' defence following the injuries suffered by first choice pairing Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez.

Friday 5th May:

Neymar to leave PSG?

Following the news Lionel Messi will be departing PSG at the end of his contract this summer, reports suggest fellow superstar Neymar Jr could be next in line for the exit door at the Parc des Princes.

The relationship between the Brazil international and the Parisian club's hierarchy appears at an all-time low, with an angry group of PSG supporters pictured outside the forward's home demanding his departure.

As of yet Neymar himself has made no concrete indication he wishes to leave PSG, with the Ligue 1 leaders the favourites at 2/5 to be the South American's club on 3rd September 2023, but it is clear all is not well for the 30-year-old in Paris at present.

Reports suggest negotiations between Los Blancos and the Bundesliga club are at an advanced stage, with personal terms for the 19-year-old almost complete.

Bellingham, already capped 24 times by England, will join two of the other most promising young midfielders in world football in the form of Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni at the Santiago Bernabeu, with legendary playmakers Luka Modric and Toni Kroos coming towards the end of their careers.

The Birmingham City academy graduate will become just the sixth Englishman to represent Real Madrid should the transfer go through, following in the footsteps of the likes of Steve McManaman, David Beckham and Michael Owen.

Football icon Lionel Messi is in to 4/7 to make a dramatic return to Barcelona this summer after PSG disciplined the Argentine for an unauthorised trip to Saudi Arabia.

Messi and Firmino backed for Barcelona

Whilst Lionel Messi becomes increasingly linked with a dramatic return to Barcelona, fellow South American Roberto Firmino could be set to join him.

Messi, who won four Champions Leagues, 10 La Liga titles and seven Ballon d'Or awards during his 21 years at the Catalan club, is now 2/5 to be back at Barcelona come 3rd September.

It has has already been announced that Brazilian Firmino will end his decorated eight-year association with Liverpool this summer, with Xavi's side the latest favourites for his signature at 5/4.

Joao Pedro agrees Brighton deal

Brighton have agreed a club-record deal to sign 21-year-old Brazilian forward Joao Pedro from Watford this summer.

Pedro, who has scored 11 Championship goals for the Hornets this season, will add competition in attack for Brighton next term alongside the likes of Danny Welbeck, Evan Ferguson and Deniz Undav.

A versatile attacker capable of both leading the line himself and playing in behind a striker, Pedro is a player with huge potential. The Brighton hierarchy may just view Pedro as a player with high resale value, especially under the auspices of manager Roberto De Zerbi who has a great knack for developing talent.

Pedro could be playing European football for Brighton next season, with the eighth-placed Seagulls still firmly in the hunt for a place in the Premier League's top seven with eight matches remaining.

Mason Mount in shock Man Utd switch?

The race for in-demand Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount's signature this summer has taken a fresh twist, with Manchester United's odds to be the 24-year-old's club on the 3rd September coming in from 16/1 to just 3/1.

Out of contract at the end of next season, Mount has been widely linked with a move away from Chelsea having endured a disappointing campaign at Stamford Bridge this term.

Despite the movement in Man United's odds, Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are the favourites at 11/8 to have Mount at their disposal on 3rd September, whilst Chelsea are priced at 9/4, with the club's bosses still keen to persuade their academy graduate to put pen to paper on a new contract in west London.

Harry Kane to Chelsea?

He's sure to be one of the most talked-about players of the summer, and while his future remains up in the air, we've cut his price on being a Chelsea player on 3rd September from 20/1 to 6/1. 

There have been a number of controversial moves in the Premier League era - Sol Campbell joining Arsenal, Robin van Persie joining Manchester United, Ashley Cole joining Chelsea - and Harry Kane moving from North to West London would be right up there.

There are plenty of pros and cons for the move. Chelsea desperately need a striker, especially if they're to make another charge for the top four. Money shouldn't be an object, as long as the Blues can navigate the Premier League's financial rules, and Kane's contract only has a year to run. They also look set to employ Kane's former boss in Mauricio Pochettino.

The negatives are obvious; aside from Kane turning down immediate Champions League football with Manchester United or Bayern Munich, he'd be joining a huge rival which would undoubtedly tarnish his reputation at Tottenham if not destroy it completely.

Harry Kane: will he stay or will he go?

Another player whose contract is set to expire next summer, speculation surrounding Spurs talisman Harry Kane's future is starting to ramp up as the 29-year-old ponders a defining next career move.

Still inexplicably in search of his first major honour as a professional player, having spent his entire senior career at Spurs, many feel this summer could be the perfect time for one of Europe's deadliest strikers to move on to pastures new.

Still very much at the peak of his powers, behind only Erling Haaland in the Premier League scoring charts this season on 24 goals, England captain Kane will undoubtedly have plenty suitors in this summer's window.

Erik ten Hag's Manchester United are the current frontrunners for his signature should Kane decide to leave Spurs, with United now priced at 11/8 to be his club on 3rd September 2023.

Spurs remain favourites to be Kane's club come September 3rd, however, with odds of 6/5.
