Melbourne Storm ace Ryan Papenhuyzen says they will be well prepared for the return of Latrell Mitchell when they take on South Sydney on Thursday night.
The Storm are priced at 19/50 to win the blockbuster, but Souths will be given a huge lift with Mitchell set make his first appearance since serving a lengthy suspension.
The Rabbitohs ace is one of the best players in the comp and he will be even more fired up to make an impression after being out for so long.
Souths will also be fired up after losing to the Broncos in round one and Papenhuyzen says the Storm will have to be ready.
"He's probably their most influential player and you could tell they missed him on the weekend," Papenhuyzen said of Mitchell.
"We'll have to watch some clips from last year and see how he went about his game. I've no doubt he's developed his game since then and he'll be hungrier this year.
"It's a big 'in' for them, we'll have to focus a lot on him because between him and Cody (Walker) that's where a lot of their attack goes. I'm sure they'll be pumped up after losing in round one."
Souths are not the only ones boosted by the return of a key player. Cameron Munster and Harry Grant also return from suspension and will slot straight in.
It makes up for the loss of Brandon Smith who is facing a spell on the sidelines with a broken hand.
"I would have loved to be playing alongside Brandon (this week) but that's the way footy is sometimes, Grant said.
"I'm really excited to be back in the side. Really excited to be down here at AAMI Park again and playing in front of our home members and fans."
