The 2025 State of Origin is finely poised at 1-1 ahead of the third and final fixture in Sydney, as home advantage swings the way of the New South Wales Blues.
After an eight-year spell of dominance in which Queensland won every series, the last 11 series' have been much more closely contested with the Maroons winning six and the Blues winning five.
An 18-6 win in Brisbane was a dream start for New South Wales, however the Maroons bit back in Perth, recording a 26-24 win in thrilling fashion to level the series at 1-1.
Queensland had looked to be cruising to a routine win on the neutral soil in Perth, with Billy Slater's side leading 26-6 at the half way stage. However the Blues came out firing in the second half, running home four successive tries in a pulsating second-half, which saw the Maroons just survive the comeback on to save their series.
All eyes now turn to Sydney for the final of the best-of-three series, and while the Blues are the favourites to claim back-to-back titles, the tie is finely poised ahead of a blockbuster showdown at the Accor Stadium.
