Sprint Cup Odds: Inisherin leads Haydock field

Commonwealth Cup champion Inisherin leads a field of 16 for the Group 1 race on Saturday afternoon, with connections hoping that he can bounce back from his fifth-placed finish in the July Cup last time out.

His main challenge this weekend could come from stablemate Elite Status, who was triumphant in the Group 3 Hackwood Stakes at Newbury in July.

Champion jockey William Buick will be on board Swingalong, a horse who ran big races at double-figure prices when finishing second in the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot and the July Cup.

Other contenders include Jasour, who was third behind Inisherin in the Commonwealth Cup, and Bucanero Fuerte, whose odds have shortened in the build up to the race.
